Summer Study Abroad Opportunities


HKUST's partner institutions as well as other universities offer a wide range of programs in the summer. Students can apply for these programs with the host institution directly with a registration with Office of Global Learning.

Students can apply for funding through the HKUST Short-Term Study Abroad Allowance as long as you meet eligibility requirement. Eligible students can also apply for Government Subsidy to support your program participation.     Birmingham International Summer School

    The Birmingham International Summer School offers you the chance to study in the Heart of England, at a top institution and a pioneering university.   • The University of Exeter
    International Summer School

    The University of Exeter was granted its royal charter in 1955, but traces its origins to schools and colleges established over 150 years ago. Today, it is amongst the top 1 per cent of universities worldwide according to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, the most influential global league table. It is a member of the prestigious Russell Group of research intensive universities, and combine excellent teaching and world-leading research with stunning campuses.

    International Summer School programme offers a variety of subject choices taken from across different colleges of the University of Exeter. Students can take either session or both.

    Included within the price of the International Summer School is on campus accommodation and a varied and exciting social programme including day trips to areas such as the beautiful St Ives and fascinating city of Bath. The social programme also includes evening activities and other optional day trips and activities on and off campus. All transport for the social programme as well as airport meet and greet and transfer is included in the programme.

    Leeds International Summer School

    Leeds International Summer School (LISS) offers you the opportunity to study at the University of Leeds and immerse yourself in British culture as part of an exciting short programme.

    You will choose one or two modules from a diverse range of subject areas, and earn up to 20 University of Leeds credits (equivalent to six US credits or 10 ECTS). CLICK HERE for module choices.
