Study Abroad Empowers your Future

Study Abroad: Beyond the pandemic

The pandemic has impacted our relationships with others in so many ways. Social distancing, suspension of face-to-face learning, and travel restrictions have all greatly affected the forming of friendships. Things that were taken for granted pre-pandemic—receiving international students new to Hong Kong, air travel to study abroad—have been virtually lost over the past 1.5 years.

Study abroad is a unique and invaluable experience that should be included in everyone’s undergraduate (UG) study. It’s hard to beat the experience of becoming immersed in a new culture. New perspectives bring new insights into your identity, career, and future path. New friendships with people from around the world can last well beyond the program.
